Production: L’Oubliée is a liquor made from the pomace of the previously family owned wine estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
The pomace is distilled in a copper alembic still at La Royère in order to obtain the liquor, which is similar to Italian Grappa. The liquor is thereafter aged in oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: Fruity and oaky, should be served at room temperature.
For cocktails, suitable base spirit for an old-fashioned. Can also be used for desserts or on a scoop of raisin ice-cream.
Alcohol Content: 42% vol.
